Small Mobile Robot
Collapses, cracks, canals, narrow passes are the places, where it is hard to get into by a person. That is why the one of the PROTEUS element will be small a mobile robot, which will enable the observation and realization of easy tasks in the most inaccessible places. This ability is assured thanks to the following robot's features:
- Stable construction with small overall directions and small mass;
- Hybrid carriageable construction, which allows defeated terrain roughness and small vertical obstacles;
- Manipulator which allows for easy operating;
- Modular construction;
- Visual cameras and sensors;
- Intuitive control system.
Mobile Robot with accelerated functionality
In emergency services and services responsible for public safety actions there are many situations, when a person’s help is impossible. That is why in PROTEUS system will be used Mobile Robot with an accelerated functionality. It will be able to transfer the diverse data, containing the information about environment, in which it works and take the complicated tasks. Robot will be autonomous equipped, what will support the actions provided by the operator of the robot. Its main features and equipment are:
- Light, solid construction;
- Carriageable system, containing six wheels, which will be helpful during overcoming terrain roughness and climbing up kerbs;
- Manipulator, which will help to operate the mass from 30 kg on the height 3m;
- Modular set of sensors, which will enable the configuration of robot’s equipment due to the action’s commander decision;
- Set of sensors: chemical, radiological, biological, gassy, flaming, explosive, pyrometer;
- Visional cameras;
- Navigation module;
- Operation time: 3h.
Interventionist Robot
Actions provided by the emergency services and the services responsible for public safety very often are connected with the health hazard and danger of life of people, who take a part in these actions. That is why one of the robot, which will be used in PROTEUS project is an interventionist robot, which can support or even replace people during the most dangerous tasks. The main features of the interventionist robot are:
- Solid construction;
- Hybrid carriageable system, which enable overcoming huge obstacles;
- Manipulator, which enable installation of different kinds of endings of manipulator, which helps to operate a mass to 5 kg;
- Set of visional cameras;
- Set of replaceable sensors (configuration is chosen due to the action);
- Navigational module.
- It is worth to say that at the current level of PROTEUS realization, lasts defining mobile robots features and written above descriptions have only tentative character.
