In many modern laboratories in University of Technology in Poznań, there are provided many researches over methods, algorithms and the architecture of the systems, connected with future mobile applications. The greatly equipped laboratories (computers, laptops, mobiles, GPS receivers, inertial systems, electronic compasses, radio modules, telemetric equipment) enable to provide interesting works, connected with the automation inside the buildings and their remote control, designing and building drone aircrafts and ships.
The Institute of Computer Sciences in Poznań is involved in many projects:
- „ Methods and Algorithms of mobile processing in grid- centric systems supported operational police works.”, realization: 2006- 2008;
- „ Mobile grid- centric system supported operational police works.” Realization 2006- 2009;
- „Intelligent information system supporting observation, searching and detection for security of citizens in urban environment”, 2008-2013.
In Proteus Project II PP is responsible for building Unmanned Aircraft, but also for choosing and adopting Mobile Commanding Centre, creating a new MCC software, operator’s consoles and presentation of the data.
