Military University of Technology provides a number of research and implementation works in the basic character and also used in the range of priorities, described by the European Parliament, Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Ministry of National Defense. In the Opto-Electronic Department works a Centre of Excellence of the “Optoelectronic Systems of the Security Monitoring” OptoSec and accredited Research Laboratory. The Academy systematically develops national and international cooperation with research institutes. The most important undertakings of the Military University of Technology are:
- EUREKA;
- COST G8;
- Contract between European Commission and Military University of Technology (“Research Training Networks”);
- Preparatory Action for Security Research (“Highway to security” project).
In PROTEUS the Military University of Technology will be responsible for integration and elaboration of sensors and interfaces and their tests.
