The works under the initial stage of the project have been finished. Their contractor was the Scientific and Research Centre for Fire Protection. The SRCFP workers made the “Potential scenarios of the application of the projected system in the rescue works and in the crisis management support”. After its verification by the others participants of the consortium, the tactical and technical assumptions for the system and subsystems realized in the project were prepared.

The second stage of the project, which rests on the elaboration of the general architecture of the PROTEUS system taking users demands into consideration and particularization of the technical assumptions of the system, is finishing now.

At present works under the PROTEUS system elements are starting, they are including:

·         Communication subsystems;

·         Sensors;

·         Mobile Management Center;

·         Robots and their consoles;

·         Unmanned plane;

·         Simulator.
